ABOUT FŪR
FŪR is a Zurich-based brand creating scented candles in handcrafted ceramic. Each piece brings together sculptural form and refined fragrance, with objects designed to remain, to be refilled, and to live beyond the flame. The scents are quiet but precise, built around classical notes such as fig, incense or iris, reworked with restraint. The fragrances are created by Oleg Schläpfer of Encensesque, while the ceramic sculptures are developed by Mauro Staltari of studio staltari. At the heart of FŪR is fire in two acts: first to shape the ceramic, then to release the scent.

Oleg Schläpfer lives in Zurich, a city whose calm, clarity and restraint continue to inform his way of seeing and creating. His fascination with fragrance began early, not as a product category, but as something tied to memory, mood and presence. Over time, this grew into a deeper engagement with raw materials, composition and the quiet power of scent to shape a space without dominating it. Through Encensesque, he develops fragrances defined by precision, restraint and atmosphere. At FŪR, Oleg creates the scents, working with classical notes and rebalancing them into compositions that feel subtle, refined and deeply present.

Mauro Staltari is the founder of studio staltari in Zurich. Shaped by an architectural way of thinking, his work moves between form, function, and sculpture.
His ceramics are made in small series and as one-off pieces, carrying the traces of process, fire, and time.
For FŪR, Mauro develops ceramic objects with the intention of remaining in use long after the candle has burned down, as sculptures with a presence and purpose of their own.
